Going home on friday for the summer, i still can’t really believe that University is over again for another year, and that next year will be my last and final year. Well actually it maybe not, maybe gonna do a masters or maybe a P.G.C.E then do teaching…hmm maybe i not really thought about that yet.
Also i need to think about what i could do for my dissertation, but before all that i need to do a resit and pass that to get into my final and 3rd year… fun!
Well last night was the last Hockey social of this year, it was quite a poor turn out to be honest though quite a few of the girls met up with us lads later, it was an interesting night to say the least, got turned away at one pub cause we were singing songs on the way to the pub, so ended up going else where, ended up in weatherspoons
. My house mate chris got binned, i got a few photos of that, oh and i said i wasnt going to get drunk and well i did a little, oh well never mind, you only live onece, least i didnt send any abusive text messages which i sometimes do when im drunk. Which is a damn good thing:)

A football tournament played by teams of robots has kicked off in Germany. The 10th annual RoboCup, being held in Bremen, will see more than 400 teams of robots dribbling, tackling and shooting in an effort to become world champions.
Machines compete in 11 leagues including those designed for humanoid and four-legged robots.
The organisers of the tournament hope that in 2050 the winners of the RoboCup will be able to beat the human World Cup champions.
“RoboCup 2006 is the first step towards a vision,” said Minoru Asada, president of the RoboCup Federation.
“This vision includes the development of a humanoid robot team of eleven players, which can win against a human soccer world champion team.”
Portable media player maker Creative Technology has said that US authorities will look at whether Apple’s rival iPod player infringes one of its patents. The firms have swapped patent lawsuits in recent months, but Creative said the US International Trade Commission (ITC) was now launching a probe. Creative has asked the ITC to issue an order stopping Apple from marketing, selling or importing iPods into the US.
It claims the iPod infringes its patent for a music player navigation menu.
