With this on going spy death inquiry across London and now in Russia and also in Germany, the use of such a highly toxic substance polonium-210. It all has echoes of the cold war, and how it was NATO vs the Warsaw Pact, its actually hard to believe the cold war effectively only ended in 1991 when communism in Russia formerly the USSR failed and faltered, this was due to mainly the first Gulf war in 1991 as it showed the communism party how weak in military terms they were compared to the west.
The spy death inquiry can’t be very good for relations between Russia and the United Kingdom, the question remains why in this age we live in would you murder or silence someone with such a toxic substance? I thought the world nowadays was much more mature in attitudes, but obvious not. Its all a big mystery and i hope the main question can be answered why ?
