15 minutes till i finish work, then home. Pick my things up and off to chester on the bus for a weekend of madness and drunkeness.
Its going to be great, a good old reunion with people i havent seen since univeristy broke up for summer, hopefully get to see some of the hockey lads too, since i missed the first social of the year working. Oh well tonight and saturday nights will defiantly make up for lack of a social life over the summer.
Though to be honest i have no idea how my body or liver is going to cope, i havent had any alcohol in four weeks, so it could be interesting. Though im just hoping my body just switches to the state of its a uni night, and hope i will be ok.
Either way its going to be fun!
I found today a great little too for creating your own wordpress theme, yes thats right a website which can generate you a simple wordpress theme, you can choose many options, from sidebar placement, to colours, to the menu placement. It gives quite a few options for a generator, its a great little tool.
And best thing is when you have finished generating your website it give you the option to download it in a compressed file

This wordpress update has made me realise how annoying the whole updating of my blog is, especially when it updating the whole of the blog to the latest version, i have recently found out of a plugin that allows the ability to automatic updates for your version of wordpress.
I wish i have found this plugin sooner, its an ace little plugin. The plugin is called Wordpress Automatic Update, which avaliable from techie buzz.

Started work now properly at Shavington High School, in my first proper week, and im enjoying it. As my job is a new postion things are taking there time to get sorted, for example, my own logons, my own set of keys etc. But its all good.
As part of my job i will be split between two jobs:
Webmaster – which will be done at the end of the day, updating the VLE (Virtual Learning Enviroment), which needs alot of work to get it upto a good standard, but it is mainly setting standards for each departments work and how the content goes on to the internet.
ICT Technician – this is my other role, which i will be doing for normally about two hours each day, which could be a host of things, general I.t things to changing pupils passwords.
