Internet explorer has failed again, well in recent days a flaw has been found in internet explorer 7, 6 and earlier versions which could at could let hackers gain access to their computers and steal personal data, and told them to swap to a rival browser.
The flaw was spotted last week when hackers started attacking users of IE 7. The flaw, however, has also been found in earlier versions of Microsoft’s browser, IE 5 and IE 6.
Because Internet explorer is used by seven out of every ten computers in the world, the flaw is potentially very serious.
Microsoft is trying to put together a patch, but in the meantime computer users have been advised to update their security settings or switch to unaffected browsers such as Firefox or Opera. Come over to the light side i say, come over to firefox. Users of other browsers have been saying this for far too long that internet explorer is flawed and now we finally have some proof:
So this is new windows 7, the comic thing is that they say is that they copied the taskbar from previous windows versions, unlikely its obivious its apple, it was notacable in the last version of windows, yes vista was trying to be an apple mac. Microsoft should just stay at what they do best and stay out of apples territory.
My new job at the University of Chester is going really, well i am enjoying what i am doing, although my job hasnt been specified exactly what i am doing, its the last week of my two week induction and i now have a greater understanding what the department of LIS (Learning and Information Services) does for the University and how without the LIS department the University would struggle to function without the I.T support.
Wordpress photoblog this is a modified version of the k2 theme, the idea of the photoblog is that it uses all the advantages of using k2 and turning it for use as a photoblog. The photo blog has been inspired by k2Nautilus, which was made by marinegirl.
For my version of photoblog I have used the latest k2 release as my base and built upwards, I consider this still a beta in all respects.
Currently I have two versions, either one has a slightly different way of having the text of posts displayed.
Also i am working on several k2 wordpress themes, these can be found on my demo website.
Well the last two days have been trying to install windows xp onto an eee asus laptop pc, i have tried every possible idea of making it work, it all comes down to the fact the eee asus laptop doesnt have a CD-ROM drive which creates all lovely problems, and also the current eee asus im trying to install has linux on it.
So i have tried to create an XP copy on to a usb pen drive which proved to work at first it started to load windows up then crashed to a blue screen and the install stopped, i tried count less other methods and in the end tried to image map another eee asus but this wouldnt even load dos up on my usb pen drive so for the moment im in defeat.
Biggest help i found was using the eeeuser website, good guides and plenty of ways to solve issues.
But tomorrow we shall try with an flash Sd card which was used to load the last eee asus up, so hopefully we shall have it all working tomorrow
