So i thought the snow was actually going to finally disappear this week, but no it has returned. The ground is now covered with snow again, stupid snow. I didnt mind it at first, but when it stay around for this long it make it dangerous and difficult to get to work, although i walk to work this can be dangerous with ice etc.
Driving could be potentially dangerous too, my road once again has been covered with snow, no grit either.
Also no playing hockey this week again as the pitches are still covered in snow, so this is further disrupting my life.
But this week i will not let the snow ruin my social life, i will be going out tonight with the hockey team, i need it since i haven’t been out for ages!
Finally the snow is starting to melt it was nice while it lasted, but the snow has dented Britain. With our infrastrure, and transport networks almost coming to a halt all because of abit of snow. Its ridiculous why we cant cope with snow like this, when other countries in europe have no problem with it.
Well with the snow going atleast the country can get back on track, which means for me the hockey season can begin again, which i have missed. If the snow hadnt come, i had a chance to play for Chester 4ths, nevermind. I will keep playing and perhaps one day i will play at that level.
Also with the snow going, no more horrible driving conditions and a car that will probably function alot better, the horrible snow has gone.
I found this striking image on the BBC News website, it shows exactly how much Britain is experiencing the cold weather, and how much of the UK has snow still on the ground.

The Big Freeze, so the UK is currently the worst snow and ice weather since 1981.

Its the last time my parents remember the weather was this bad, its so cold out today. I’ve not gone outside yet but weather forecast reports it could be -6 at 9.am in the morning, that extreme i’ve never experienced cold weather like. Apparently it may have been -7 last night in Chester.
It means once again tonight i will have to warm the car up for 20mins to keep the battery topped up and to make sure its still starting ok despite the cold weather.
I’ve included a few nice photos of the snow, before it now has turned to ice. Yet there is more snow forecast for this week, so it looks like things will be getting worst before they get better.

Its Snowing in Chester, we have had a sprinkling of Chester, nothing compared to the snow seen in London and the south today, im kind of glad we dont have the blizzards of the south.
BUT at the same time i would like more snow please, a couple of inches would be nice so atleast building a snow man would be possible! But from the look of the weather report on the BBC news website we could be instore for quite alot of snow over the next few hours and the night.
On a side note, meant to be playing hockey on wednesday just hope we can play still.
