Finally the snow is starting to melt it was nice while it lasted, but the snow has dented Britain. With our infrastrure, and transport networks almost coming to a halt all because of abit of snow. Its ridiculous why we cant cope with snow like this, when other countries in europe have no problem with it.
Well with the snow going atleast the country can get back on track, which means for me the hockey season can begin again, which i have missed. If the snow hadnt come, i had a chance to play for Chester 4ths, nevermind. I will keep playing and perhaps one day i will play at that level.
Also with the snow going, no more horrible driving conditions and a car that will probably function alot better, the horrible snow has gone.
Home tomorrow/today, im looking forward to going home, though i do prefer chester so much more, but it in many ways it will be good to be home as i can sort out my real job, paying off my student debt and hopefully getting my mini on the road too.
Also i can sort out my job etc as i will be having to make my way in the real world… Also i need to work out which hockey team i will be playing for either my local team or continue to playe forĀ Chester club which i would rather do as i have plenty of friends there still, which all counts in what team you play for. And hopefully if im needed i may make an apperance for University if required to do
Yesterday i watched my first watepolo game at University, it was the current University of Chester Waterpolo team versus leavers and it was a great game to watch, the leavers naturally won of course. I helped out i was timing the periods and keeping score, i was quite surprised how that although there are four periods that last only seven minutes the periods lasted much longer than that, because if the ball went out, or a foul was commiteed or a goal was scored i had to stop the timer. All in all i had a good day watching the gamer, and throughly enjoyed helping out.
Then in the evening i went out with people off the waterpolo team, and we had a blast getting drunk and ending up in last orders, it was a good night, many drunken photographs are now residing on my facebook profile. All in all a crazy night out
Well tomorrow will be an interesting day as is the last game of the season and also my last ever game playing as a University of Chester Hockey player, it will be a sad day but a game of my life. Tomorrow i will be giving everything i have, blood, sweat and tears as we play Manchester 5ths it will be a great occasion with what could be a great home game with plenty of supporters, and perhaps even cheerleaders
, they should hopefully distract the opposition
So i am hopping for a good game as tomorrows game will decide who wins the golden stick for top goal scorer, i only need two goals to get it, and in hockey anything can happen.
So lets see how things pan out. I cant wait
I finally got round to updating the University of Chester Hockey Club On-line Gallery, it includes all the photographs i have taken so far on social events the club part takes every Wednesday night.
