Masters Results

So its been awhile since i updated my blog, this because im normally quite busy and to be honest when ive been at working sitting in front of a computer all day, all i want to do is chill out and take a break from it all. So in the future i may blog less and use my blog as a personal website to pull in all of my online interactions into one place and display them as a lifestream.

But anyway i finally got my masters results in and i have successfully passed all of my modules though i did have to do two resits of them, and it took me longer than a year to get them finished, actually nearly 3 years to get them done, but least i have them sorted now :) I should have had them sorted last year, but with the transition of going from full time student, to working full time, to having my own flat, playing hockey every weekend i think took its toll, but i found my way back and they have now been sorted :) .

So now the next step will be me to start on my dissertation, which im aiming to do as soon as possible, i just need to get in my dissertation proposal which i hope i can get in next week, its 2000 words so much smaller than what im use to as the normal essay i have written in the past is 4000 words. And i have all of the required material for the essay so thats a bonus.

Though my masters will be a dauting task, 16000 words is alot, but im nearly there now, it will all be worth it in the end :D .

End of Season Meal

Last night was the hockey club end of season meal. We had our meal at Chez Jules, it was lovely meal. We have a starter and a main meal, and each person had a choice of a bottle of white wine or red wine not bad, a pretty good student deal actually.

Besides it been a drunken afair of awards and photographs, it was an awesome night as this years third years will be leaving in the summer.

Injuries

Well playing hockey at the weekend, i managed to pickup two extensive injuries one which getting my ribs bashed in which hurt so much that it was hard to breathe at one point. Not a good feeling i can tell you, so once back in chester i headed to A&E where i had a lovely two hour wait to get seen by a doctor. I can now understand why the students union of chester univeristy has the policy of taking injuried students to Liverpool hospital rather than wait two hours or more at the Chester countess which is quite terrible. Chester needs a larger hospital, its too small.

The other injury although minor still hurt, got it with a ball on my knee, so i have a lovely ball imprint on my left knee.

But i do play a rough sport it cant be helped i guess.

Home

Home tomorrow/today, im looking forward to going home, though i do prefer chester so much more, but it in many ways it will be good to be home as i can sort out my real job, paying off my student debt and hopefully getting my mini on the road too. :) Also i can sort out my job etc as i will be having to make my way in the real world… Also i need to work out which hockey team i will be playing for either my local team or continue to playe forĀ  Chester club which i would rather do as i have plenty of friends there still, which all counts in what team you play for. And hopefully if im needed i may make an apperance for University if required to do :)
